want to try something that has not been done in many years (that i am aware of) on here. want to start a $75m league broken into eras. there are currently 80 years in the database, so unfortunately, that does not divide equally by 6 divisions, so i have modified it to make it work.

that puts 39 season in the AFC and 41 in the NFC. i know the NFC West, has the largest span, but the decades seemed a nice fit for the NFC. too bad there are not 8 divisions available, that would have made it a perfect fit, but oh well.

CLONES - you CANNOT have clones at the same position. you CAN HAVE clones at different positions as long as it is the "SAME PLAYER"

example - Sammy Baugh has 12 QB seasons ('41-'52) and 8 punter seasons ('41-'47 and '50). if you want to be in the AFC East and use the $7.6m '47 Baugh QB, you can also use Baugh at punter, AS LONG AS YOU USE THE '47 Baugh P as well. you CANNOT use the '47 Baugh QB (highest salary) and the '41 Baugh P (highest salary).

it is fine if you want two teams, just keep in mind the format and choose one in each conference.

i will take two teams, and will fill the final spot in each conference.

let's don't stall out now. tired of seeing the same 5-10 players on every team, then jump in and play with some guys you have never played with or against.

it had been so long between when I signed up and when I began drafting my team, like a dummy I forgot the rules, and only drafted NFC West players from 200-2020. Unhappy with my team,I asked myself "why did I pick this era?" before realizing it was only a years category, not NFL teams. Duh.

my team will feature Tony Romo, Ricky Williams, and the 2008 Steelers D. Not exactly what we might expect given the choice of superb modern QBs, but I figure I need a huge pass defense to get through my division.

that is a good one!

this is exactly what this league is meant for. new combinations that are not seen or used on every other team!
