Maybe it’s best everyone chill and breathe and wait for more information.

Adam and his team have granted us several months before any criteria for firing goes into effect at all. He’s also listening to feedback and paying attention. Do you think he’s going to roll out a plan that completely ignores rebuilds of top programs? Give him a little more credit than a disregard for common sense.
Im down to chill but yes is do think he is going to roll out a plan that completely ignores rebuilds of top programs. I mean if you read his post and take it the way it is written you should be concerned too.

"?The requirements will be postseason tournament based, RPI & rank will have no impact on this, (meaning yes you could be at Syracuse be ranked #1 and lose in the 2nd round, 4 straight years and get fired. At the end of the day the ranking systems can be manipulated so we would rather focus on postseason performance and this will create some additional pressure in the tournament.

The tiers are based on baseline prestige and even in some of the dire rebuild projects are attainable"

Also I know there's months before we go into this plan but if the plan may change before then a, "Hey guys we are taking your feedback and rethinking the process. More to come" from adlorenz would be nice.

One unforeseen effect here is that it may well reduce voluntary movement by coaches.

Rebuilds have long been hard - but this will add significant risk to a rebuild at a high level job. Good chance that it will change the calculus for many who have nice gigs at good prestige jobs. Wanna take on that elite rebuild or stay where you are? Today, the downside is that it may take several seasons to restore a down in the dumps Duke or UCLA. BUT, you can fell confident that with time you can do it.

With a badly organized change, the odds of success at a rebuild will be steep. So, i have a good gig at a near elite or elite school, will I move? why? I am likely to fail, get fired and have to drop to a lesser school to restart myself. Is that the desired environment?

I agree - all I'm looking for is that the Admin team is reading, listening and is re-evaluating or if not, why they aren't. Communication is key.
