I am in 3 of Contrairian23's leagues. As commissioner he is always in the NLEast. I ran a quick analysis of Average rank by division (sum of player rank / 4) in each of them. And then ranked them by difficulty --- 1=toughest, 6=weakest. In all three leagues, Contrairian23's division is the tougest by a fair margin. He is the 25th ranked owner and I doubt he is the reason that his divisions are tough. I won't speculate as to why he is in tough divisions. I am in favor of random realignment.

I would gladly wait an extra day to start to re-realign me out of Ozo’s 140M division. My team in that theme is not built for high quality competition.

I would hope we only have to randomize contrarian's leagues and not redo all the rest.

Please don’t randomize again, I only have one division with anyone who has previously placed in the top 10 (I need to double check to be sure, but I might have only this one division with anyone who’s even made round 2 before), and I have a division in which the average pre-rank is an 80.

Obviously, I say this tongue in cheek. I’m all for taking an extra day to follow the letter of the law. We’ve waited this long, let’s get it right.

No sense holding up good leagues. There were previous years when some leagues started a day late and the world didn't fall apart.

Order of entry is not random. Some entered all 6 teams early and some procrastinated. This could result in teams non-randomly being in the same division twice.

Ok, we will proceed as-is.

• It does not look like WIS will see the ticket today, which is understandable since it's Sunday
• The alignment of contrarian23's leagues is effectively random since no one had any knowledge or reason to assume random realignment would not happen. It's true that effectively random does not = random, but the end result is the same in this case.
• Postponing the start is disruptive to the tournament
• Postponing the start would require a second random realignment to all other leagues. There'd be a similar, but different, type of question around whether that was the right thing to do if we went that direction, so we should bias towards getting started

It is what it is, but I’m in 4 of contrarian’s leagues and since I entered those teams right away I am in his division three times (it would have been four but I took my 70m out to change a player and rentered it).

How come I get the feeling I'm going to get screwed yet again by this. First lost the tie breaker last season and now this.

They did this for me today. I just told them that I needed to change it to adhere to league naming rules.
