Well, I should draft some pitching, but I'm going to button up my long term outfield with:
OF Matt Kemp
i have to say, i'm intrigued by this strategy.
That probably means you think I'm an idiot, but I'm just going for longer-term value. I know I will be relegated after the first season and it may take some time for me to move out of that position, but I'm not as worried about that as some others might be. My hope is to build up my team over the next few drafts, so we will see.
Hard to doubt you given your track record in RP. I just wonder about the "no pitching in Fenway strategy" unless you are counting on getting a bunch in subsequent drafts.
Well, you may be right. I know I'm not going to be very good for the first few seasons, so I suspect I will be able to pick up some arms. Whether it's enough or not, I don't know. It's just hard for me to pass up good long-term players on the board when all of the remaining pitchers are seriously flawed (either they aren't very good and/or they don't have very long careers).
