In my experience in running these 4-person drafts, they typically take 6-7 days, with roughly 3-4 rounds per day. Of course, if you get four people who are available 24/7, I've seen some 4-person drafts get finished in under 2 days.

Schwarze ran a quick drafts tournament in July 2020 and we had single-season 4-team drafts for about 60 seasons, I think. You can find those threads in thejuice draft forums still and see how they flowed. I found one we did in 3 days.

yep that's what makes that theme so difficult. It wouldn't be nearly as tricky if a 300k exception was allowed (but that would also undermine the concept of the theme).

for the $80M, if the guy is in the HOF as a manager is that okay? such people show up in the search if you filter it to HOFer, so I assume it's okay but I figured I'd ask

300K exception is on for this $120M theme but that contradicts the two available combinations. I’m assuming there is no 300K exception but can you verify?

I noticed ozomatli didn't answer this, but I have to believe he meant NO for 300K exception.

is there a date for the drafts to start?

I assume ozomatli would agree, but since we know the final round 1 standings, it seems to me that the season selection can begin at anytime. Once your group's season has been selected, that group's player draft can begin. I would recommend starting a separate thread for each of the six drafts.

Some tips since I've run these drafts many times...
When you make your selection, you should list the player, his salary (this is critical especially for players with partial and combined versions) and your team's total cumulative salary. Then site-mail the next person due up.

At the end of each round, the person who ends that round should list the draft order for the next round (with salaries). It's often helpful to have one person keep track of the picks with either an alpha list or a grid showing each team's picks by round. See example

well first you're gonna need someone to volunteer to be commissioner, then that person will need to finish their rosters for all themes, and since we've only had themes since Monday, that will take a while.

then someone else will have to verify those rosters once the rosters are done.

I have never set a a league before but if no one more experienced wants to do it I can if there is some instruction from some of the more the experienced guys. I have been looking at all the themes already I could have all my teams built (outside of the draft) by next weekend

I can definitely commish again Round 2, I just need more time on the 3x3x3x3x3…. theme
