Suppose Biden had torn up the withdrawal agreement between Trump and the Taliban, and the Taliban had taken the offensive with just a tiny American military force in the field causing the return of US casualties, and the need to surge more troops in.

What would Doug, et al. be saying then?

And again, there’s been no American casualties and over 80k evacuated.
does anyone other than Doug, the crazy Canadian and maybe all3 care what Doug says? I know I don't.
Then why do you keep answering?

Why do you continually remind us you have me blocked...don't care what I say...never read my posts...

Then turn around and comment on my post you peeked at?

Biden broke the agreement.

Former Vice President Mike Pence claimed Tuesday that President Biden reneged on the cease-fire deal that his predecessor, former President Donald Trump, agreed to with the Taliban in February 2020, setting the stage for what Pence called “a foreign-policy humiliation unlike anything our country has endured since the Iran hostage crisis.”

In Tuesday’s op-ed, Pence credited the agreement with the fact that the US “has not suffered a single combat casualty” in Afghanistan in 18 months.

However, when Biden took office in January, Pence argued, he violated the agreement by announcing that US forces would remain in Afghanistan past the May 1 deadline “without a clear reason for doing so.”

“There was no plan to transport the billions of dollars worth of American equipment recently captured by the Taliban, or evacuate the thousands of Americans now scrambling to escape Kabul, or facilitate the regional resettlement of the thousands of Afghan refugees who will now be seeking asylum in the U.S. with little or no vetting,” Pence continued. “Rather, it seems that the president simply didn’t want to appear to be abiding by the terms of a deal negotiated by his predecessor.”

Had Trump stayed in office, he would have withdrawn properly and used his threat of force had the Taliban reneged. Biden changed the deal, didn't co-ordinate with our Allies and showed weakness from day one. He didn't account for our equipment or support the Army with air support. Backward Biden left first and figured out the rear too late. The Taliban know they can push Biden and the Democrats around. Everybody knows that.

So.... If Biden had not delayed the deal, which problems would have been solved, exactly? Would the Taliban have simply not taken over? What's the argument here?

He didn't tear up the agreement. He postponed it and recently followed it. If he pulled out in May it would have been the same story a couple months earlier.

Sad!!
