Those who would refuse a vaccinate mandate are far more likely to be stupid and/or incompetent, especially unvaccinated people who are DOCTORS AND TEACHERS. Firing these employees and hopefully replacing them with vaccinated individuals would increase the average quality of those fields.

I don't want teachers, doctors, and police who lack basic critical thinking skills or who are locked in a misinformation bubble. Firing those who are (and offering an incentive to change those behaviors) would be a positive action.

As far as I understand, a higher percentage of nonwhite people are unvaccinated because they think they wouldn't be given access, not necessarily because they're just anti-vax in general. Still, that's a pretty weak excuse.

A few weeks ago I went to a dentist for teeth cleaning.
I had not thought about vaccinations until the moment before they were to begin and I asked the dentist and hygienist if they were both vaccinated. To my dismay the hygienist said sarcastically “ most of us are “. Then the dentist said she was not. She said she had Covid a few months ago and had antibodies and did not need the vaccine and complemented herself for being honest.

Naturally I left and said I would not reschedule with someone else.

My takeaway : She worked on patients at one point while she was contagious with virus and mask or no mask almost intimately close to patients. Nobody says that masks are 100% effective especially from that distance. What she did might not be legally criminal but it is certainly morally reprehensible.

Second - why in the world would I want such a reckless and corrupt and morally and intellectually bankrupt person being responsible for my dental care.


Finally people who develop antibodies after Covid have been known to get Covid again and while they might just get sick they could kill a fellow human being
even potentially someone who is vaccinated or permanently injure them in some way.

Now I differentiate some people who are not anti- vaxxers but because of some misguided inward reason won’t get the shot from people apparently like you that want to be governor desantis junior.

That's not true, but even if it was, what would we take from this?

That we should all intentionally get the virus and risk death or long term effects instead of simply taking the easy and free vaccine?

Lostnfound - I have a little research project for you. Go to google or a search platform of your choice and type in "vaccine effectiveness study." Or, type in "death rate vaccinated vs unvaccinated." Do some reading and get back to me, and then we can talk about what you've learned. Have fun!

In my County (in AZ), according to a knowledgeable source, Banner Health's employee vaccination RATE is 30%!!
That's 70% NON-vaccinated. Of the 70% a FULL 50% of them state they won't get vaccinated at all, even IF they lose their jobs!

I have a neighbor who is one of the 70%.
She is the HEAD of their home nursing program.

She has always claimed she will NOT get the shot and would quit her job IF it came to that.
She and her husband have a blended family (like the Brady Bunch). They have 4 kids, 2 each boys and girls.
The weekend before last they hosted a big birthday celebration for one of their daughters, along with some other community members birthdays.
It was a well attended bash.................in a community (and group of people) largely refusing vaccinations.

The latest news................... She, her husband, and all 4 of their children have now come down with Covid - 19!!
No word yet on how many others are sick because of their hosting of this (super-spreader) event.

Also, no word yet on her status as a Banner Health employee.
Or IF she will recover enough to even go back to work................IF she accepts vaccination!

UPDATE:

I have more local news on this party. It indeed WAS a super spreader event. The party was 13 days ago (Last Sunday).
In addition to the family I mentioned (all 4 VERY sick), we have somewhere near a dozen others NOW sick with COVID - 19.
And ONE very note-worthy DEATH. A guy who goes by the name "Sparky" (ironically enough here at WIS) is DEAD. He got the virus and DIED in less than 11 days! He was a very well known feller round these parts AND in the very center of the "Trump covid is a hoax" crowd,

Gotta wonder what they're saying this AM??
He was killed by a HOAX in less than 11 days...................gasping for his last breath...................

"Sparky's" funeral service is tomorrow.

This Sunday (19th) there will be a celebration of life "get together"/party at the home of the widow.

This is ALL completely TRUE.
I live in a small rural neighborhood in Arizona.
In a hotspot of Trumpmania.
My neighborhood of 200-300 is prolly 90% Trumpet's (including the deceased Sparky)

Sparky died from a "party/birthday gathering" that occurred on 8/29. Many got sick of Covid following the event.
NOW the same group of folks are holding (ANOTHER) superspreader event to commemorate the death of one of their OWN!!

IN MY own neighborhood!
I have a friend who is friends with these people.
He wants to attend the funeral and is "hurt" because they have invited him to their memorial party and (somehow) wants ME to feel for him!! (because he'll reveal himself as "not really one of them?" (He did admit it was partly because he'd have to "choose sides" publicly on the COVID and isn't a "political person")

Anyways, I guess I'm an *******, because my response is GROW SOME F'ING BALLS!!!
And further IF you go to these events, adios amigo, hit the road Jack because I no longer respect you as my Friend, because I can't trust YOU to do the right thing!

Thus, bottom line, 1 less friend.

And fact is, SOMEONE associated with this group of neighbors of mine needs to develop a spine, grow some balls, show some responsibility and say to the ipso facto leader of this group (the one who sends the group texts/invites) How many folks do you have to KILL to wake the F*#K UP!!
