4-way playoff tiebreaker question Topic

In Bo Jackson we have 1 game left in the regular season. There is a possibility of a 4 way tie for the 2 wild card playoff spots in the NL. I know in a 2 way tie for 1 spot they use head-to-head W-L records for the tiebreaker. When there is a 4 way tie for 2 spots, how do they determine which 2 teams are the #5 and #6 seeds and which 2 teams are out?

I don't know for sure, but my guess would be that instead of just who won the ten game season series it would look at the records from the 30 games against the other teams. In other words, it would look at Team A's record against Teams B, C and D....Team B's record would be against A, C, D etc. In this scenario WC1 would be the best record, WC2 would be 2nd best record and the 3rd and 4th ranked teams would miss out.

It ended in a 3 way tie for the 2 wild card spots. My team was 6-4 against both of the other teams and ended up as the #5 seed.
