This is my thread and it was about the supernatural disappearance of Sinai.

It is all but etched in stone that this was a case of someone violating alternate account rules.

I have no problem with someone who maybe isn't clear on the rules is caught violating the 1,000 mile condition.

But when someone who clearly knows the rules and intentionally violates them multiple times, well that is BS.

Don't defend or rationalize a cheater.

If you have two teams in one world, they can’t be within 1000 miles of each other.

Though nobody should need multiple teams in the same world, let alone the same division level.

The 1,000 mile rule was always kinda dumb anyways. If you have 2 teams in the same world (for whatever reason), then having them 1,000 miles apart is actually ideal. That way you can efficiently scout 2 different areas of the country.

Man, I missed Whatif drama, Just spent the week with the guy who created it and saw some of the early games It was pretty cool.

He wasn’t even man enough to admit that he got caught though. That in itself is the issue. It’s like the old ‘my dog ate my homework’ bit. Saying it was his wife’s account is laughable.

but you are missing the point... of course he didn't admit he got caught, where's the fun in that? it wouldn't be trolling if he did. he made it ridiculously obvious that sinai was him, so like, if you are thinking he has now been served his comeuppance and is over there crying about losing the sinai account, clinging to the 'its my wife thing' desperately... i think you are missing the point.

it doesn't bother me, any of this. not even a little bit. my point the entire time has been, why let it bother you? there's no point, just chill. ab doesn't bother me, but i'm not a huge fan of the trolling either. its not great for the community, but i get why he does it, folks gave him **** over his play style, and he's giving you guys **** right back. i just ignore the trolling parts and we get along just fine. i suspect the same would be true for everyone else if y'all did the same. and i think most folks have reached that point, honestly.

and i'm not saying to ignore FPG violations. at all. someone said ab should embrace being the villain and im just pointing out that 1) he has, 2) it couldn't be more obvious he has, and 3) the only way to counter act that is not to engage on the troll-y stuff, which this sinai thing is just the latest instance of

That’s it! Drama makes life more fun. No one is actually losing sleep over any of this, but life’s less monotonous with a little drama.

My entire issue with gil's outlook on things is this......

Ab90 is a turd period. No matter how you slice it. The team hopping. The multiple accounts. The 1000 mile rule. You name it. As a human being, ab90 might be an awesome person in society and a great man. Hope he is.

But we have someone like gil here who obviously likes the game and what it means to him. So much so that he corrects every punctuation, every comment made that has 1/1000 of something that could be worded in a better manner, and he does it with his 5000 word posts. Having said that, normally that type of person would want the best for the game. In other words, getting rid of useless cheaters that are scheming is some manner. If gil doesn't care about that, no problem, on to the next point. Now gil kinda defends him by saying ab90 is just trolling, but he gets on everyone else for trolling. But not ab90. That's what makes it all ridiculous to me.

Someone that cares about the game maybe more than anyone, turns a blind eye (or just doesn't mind it) to the cheating/stupidity. Laughs it off as trolling. But then condones anyone and everyone else for trolling.

My thoughts are this...... EVERYONE here kinda over thinks the "ab90 attacking" somewhat. Does it really matter if ab90 is cheating or doing stupid crap? Does it interrupt anyone's sleep at night? Absolutely not. I think the gil's and p6543's think the community does lose sleep over it. And that's simply not the case. The entire point is why continue to have it here? It's not needed. WardoYT or fakewardo or whatever we want to call him, he got blocked/banned from the forums. Why? Because the babble he was writing was just kinda pointless. It wasn't hurting anybody. And it definitely WASN'T EFFECTING THE GAME. But still it was handled for some reason. What ab90 does, does in fact impact the game. There's ripple effects, players that end up on his roster due to scouting advantages, etc that other schools would normally end up with. (I'm just giving an example! Not complaining). So if one coach cheats and that can change the game, why let that slide? It doesn't NEED to be handled. But why not handle it?

I think readers who don't care file this under the "oh my gosh, why does this bother people so much? It's pathetic!" category. When really it doesn't bother people that much. It needs to be filed under the "this guy still is allowed to play after all his shenanigans? Get rid of the guy already (in a laughing manner), and let's move on. He's an obvious troll"

Nothing serious. Nothing to lose sleep over. But more of a nuisance. Like if you a fly in your house, instead of letting it land on you dozens of times, you kill it and go on about your business.

well dogg, i apparently missed the mark with my post, because i set out intentionally - apparently unsuccessfully - not to defend the FGP violations or ab in general... i don't think we are actually that far apart on what you said there though, i agree with most of it. i was trying to make a specific response to a point raised, i even tried to put in there, not defending the alt account, but i get what i said is colored by previous comments i made.

anyway i definitely am not trying to condone by calling it trolling. not a fan of trolling in general... as you pointed out. but i get that saying it was kind of hilarious more or less did that. not my intent. it is true that for whatever reason, ab is my kind of ******* i guess, i grew up in new jersey and i get where he is coming from, or something. i don't think its good though, community wise (which i do think i said). anyway i wasn't trying to condone, and i'm not trying to - just more pointing out that he shouldn't be taken seriously, and i was only making that point in response to taking him seriously. more in the line of, there is no reason to debate any of this, its clearly him, not his wife, he's only doing the wife thing to **** people off, don't bite. and 100% i don't mean, don't report him for violating the FGPs or any of that.

I get that. And when it boils down to it, I know your mindset for the game and it's coaches in general. And the community is better off with you here overall. I just also know you've kinda brushed off the ab90 attacks from others as "why is everybody worried about it? Who cares". Which is fine. It's your opinion! But now that he's been caught with his pants down, I'd hope you would now see that he's just a bozo.

This is a serious game changer. And it needs to be changed immediately.
