I have stated that I like the general changes Adam was making. And I like the direction of the game for the most part. I've mentioned that I didn't like opening up the D1 flood gates so everybody gets in. But having said that, I don't think it's "too difficult" now. I feel like it's kinda the sweet spot as far as D1 population in comparison to recruiting. D2 and D3 look a little light now. But it's never going to be perfect and thats fine.

2 months ago I had zero teams. Now I have one in every world

This game has gone through years of no active development. This is the first time we've had consistent updates from devs. Seems like an odd time to give up on it even if you don't agree with the handling of a certain person.

The dialogue is nice. I've had one team for over a year now. No intentions to get more, or less. It can be hard to be interested in the same thing for 15 years +

Depends on the angle. Could be less about a certain person and more about mindset or principles of a man. My job analogy.... I can have the best job on earth. But if management has that one fatal flaw that I can't work around, a new job is an option 100%. I'm not saying that applies to anything here. I'm just responding to your post specifically. As far as active game development, I wasn't around for it, but apparently when 3.0 jumped off, a ton of great veterans left because they didn't like the changes. So i guess it's all about the interest level of people involved

In other news, HD is a great game. And what makes it great in my opinion, is the community that we have. And the community is priority one for me. I love all you guys, even the ones I fake argue with. Even they know it. I plan on being a gil at some point...... retiring from the game, but not from chatting with you all

Just sort of figured it out. Don't think I'll be cutting back any time soon. Might even pick up another team as the only thing holding me back before was having to trudge through D3/D2 in a world I haven't played in.

The game is absolutely desperate for something to spice it up though and firings ain't it (though not bad necessarily). Give us more depth to gameplanning and a fresh world they can promote as a champions league or something.

I need to win some championships before I think about retiring. I definitely can't handle more than the 2.5 teams I have right now so I won't be increasing or decreasing any time soon.

I agree with topdog that the community is one of the main reasons that I've stuck around after all these years. Just a great group of human beings.

I'm also still excited to see what this new dev team can accomplish. Once they update all of the code, it should be pretty easy for them to make the changes that are necessary to keep this game fresh.

I will say the new team has brought real excitement to the community because they are actually active with the game. If only this team were here before 3.0, we may not have had the mass exodus of players.
