The reason I didn't pick J Allen (who I did consider): I already had Ewing, so I knew I wanted at least 4 usage points from the C position for each season. That's why I took Yao Ming, who is a pretty great backup option for Ewing IMO, though I am leaving a lot of Ming minutes unused. On one team (without Timelord or a good Looney season) I'll be playing Ewing a bit at the 4 to squeeze in some extra minutes from one of Yao's stronger seasons.

So I knew I'd be playing Allen exclusively at the 4 if I took him. At that point I favored Favors and Holmes, since they have the flexibility to play the 3, which seemed important since I'm using two Barkley seasons where he's 96% or lower at the 3 (85-86, 86-87). It also made it easier to construct lineups with 10 usage points, which took some finagling even though my teams have plenty of usage overall.

Maybe that's overthinking things, but that's how I ended up with that combination of big men. Thanks for the evals! Ton of fun to listen to.

Also wish I drafted Brandon Roy instead of Jason Terry.

I always tell myself that I want to use Roy's 08-09 season in the ODL, but never end up doing it. In theory that season is a very good value at that cap.

Prediction: Allen is the #1 pick overall next season after listening to the whole podcasts.

far from needing to explain this but Bogut and Kanter have five very desirable seasons each, Allen does not. I like picks that don't force me to make another pick, especially in the 4th round, when a player picked there would be expected to start.

Off topic but I just noticed PJ Tucker's D rating for his 20-21 Bucks season is a 31. Criminal. How does that happen?

For my team you're right Bobby Jones is the question mark. I am moving Bird to SG the 2 98% seasons and Jones gets SF. The other 3 Jones will start, but he'll spend 1,000 minutes behind Bird and Ge Wallace at SG. We'll see if it works.

And you were right on Simmons. He was actually going to be my pick there but I decided to get a little more D and shooting with Jones. And also hoped to get more 3's later, although with Rondo that did not happen

That’s really, really low creb for a top lineup.

i talked with mike...should have his team in soon

im out all day tomorrow(go birds) and still need to check the last few rosters...so im hoping to get everything set up on monday

pretty amazing D though if that's the 5 starter avg. My best is 80, but my avg creb is prob low 130's
