Someone needs to ask the DA why he passed one of the most high profile cases of our generation off to the ADA. I have a feeling that it was because he knew he didn't have a case.

Could be something there legally where he wasn't allowed to be a lead prosecutor. IDK.
Maybe the DA told the ADA "everyone takes a beating sometime"
I have no idea why anyone would speculate as to why the Ada of Knisha instead of the Da would handle the case. Could be a hundred reasons even that the Da felt that Ada is the best litigator.
It was a joke Dino.

During his closing arguments prosecutor James Kraus told the jury that Kyle Rittenhouse should have let himself be attacked because “everybody takes a beating sometimes.”

I was conveying that he maybe plagiarized his bosses own words when he was assigned this dumpster fire of a case.
I did not hear that sentence but it was stupid and unnecessary. There were other alternatives like trying first to defuse before killing when you hold all the cards.

It is just a stupid mistake. Surly it doesn’t prove anything but a dumb mistake and a rotten editor.
Yeah, we both know that’s a mistake that shouldn’t happen. You wouldn’t have made that “mistake”. I wouldn’t have made that “mistake”. Hell, I’d go as far to say that even Tang wouldn’t have made that “mistake” ;)
If that's true, it's horrible. No ******* way an author should write that, and no way an editor should let it go through.


I make dumb mistakes sometimes, but that's what editors are for.

Yeah come to think of it that would happen when I used a laptop.
Then again I do repeat myself when speaking sometimes and my brother in law has been known to call me Eric two times from time to time.

Yeah that's really bad. A slight, slight pass for the Independent not being American, but you just can't get the basic facts of the case wrong.
