Hello everyone,

We are looking to update the help guides and would like to include videos and other features to help new users with this game and to maybe get help with certain aspects of the game that aren't as intuitive to new users. If you know of HD content that is out there that could be helpful to new users that we could consider adding to the guides please post them here.

Isnt there a youtube series out there? if not im available for hire to make one

I could really use help with the new player recruiting guide. I recruit in a pretty weird way (massive net) that I don't think is best for new players in lower divisions. I can knock out player game plan and scheduling though...

We're going to shift gears on this a little bit. We are going to create a series of videos to help new users. We are going to try to break them down into couple minute segments to help new users with various aspects of the game. I am reaching out to compile user feedback to see what are the basics that users should know to help set them up for success. Try to keep input constructive and not "biased or opinionated" on things you personally have found to be successful but things that are widely accepted or used and would help a new user shorten the learning curve.

I'd love to help. I have more extensive stuff posted in different places (forums/Youtube) but I'm interested in offering more concise truly beginner stuff

You are welcome to copy and paste anything from this you want. I think you are targeting a newer player but putting it out there.

The only thing that looks missing to me is setting up the non-conference schedule (not just the mechanism, but also the strategy to get a good SOS to help set up for post season success).

Another topic that should be included is types of offense/defense and how it impacts gameplay, and how long it takes to change O/D if a coach wants to switch.

I also think you would want a specific video on scouting recruits.

Make sure folks understand that you can undo recruit actions before the cycle turns over as well... I had to show this to a new coach recently.

You may also consider a video that covers less important things that just add texture to the game - such as team stats (granted there may be some value in trying to understand where you team needs to improve by looking at stats), player roles, manage player positions, player records and player records on each team (which incidentally, you can only access from clicking the team - it does not have a tab on the main interface... I have always thought this was odd).

Are you looking for users to create the videos, or just wanting ideas for topics?
