Since the dividing line between the US and Canada is the 49th parallel, I thought northof49 was Canadian, not a Niners fan.

I would be surprised if he is a Niners fan, but I'm not up to date on the top curling teams, so I mixed a metaphor to deflect my lack of cultural awareness.
