I'd probably just click that auto renew and not worry about it.
Having to click something to make it happen kinda makes me think it’s not all that automatic to begin with…. Almost like you have to manually do it
(I get your point btw I’m just having a little fun)
Yeah ive clicked it once in literally 4 years of playing on this website. I have never once lost my team. TBH I'm tired of the griping about this. Id probably feel much different if it happened to me but I'm a responsible coach and always check during the NT if im renewed even though i know i am already due to me clicking the button once in 2018.
I've been on an island before, as far as everyone against me in a discussion here. So I know what it's like.
Nick_Bennett, I stand with you brother. I don't care what it's "called" (whether it's auto renew or something different). Be responsible. If not, you lose your team. And just get a different one. Not referring to THIS case, but all cases, just renew your team however needed, and we won't be having these discussions. I've clicked auto renew once as well. And never lost a team. In fact, I TRIED to drop a team in Naismith this season. And I didn't drop it because I had auto renew on and I only unclicked "renew" for the season.
The irony here..... because of that, I was able to apply and end up at Arizona, a destination job for me. The reason it was available...... the coach forgot to renew. I'm really glad he didn't hound me about getting his job back either. I respect that, and don't really wanna be apart of the "should I give him his team back or keep it" process. I respect him for that. He actually joined another team in the same conference. Shout out to that coach. I will remember that about you one day if the opportunity presents itself that I can be a nice guy back to you in some way.
I'll say loud and clear, if I somehow ever lose a team by forgetting to renew, I'll say shucks, and apply for a different one. Blame myself. The end. (But I WILL say, cub should've got the job back thru applying. That's the only real issue here. And I know he's not complaining)
