Well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I wanted Derek Lowe.... didn't get him. So, I will throw Spahn back and instead, nominate 2002 Alan Embree.

I was going to go with Lowe and was too slow. Then I was looking further and came across Embree and was thinking of going with him or another reliever I had in mind but was too slow again and all the pitching spots were full. Embree will likely get you first pick in the draft but you lose a little with Lowe already being another nominated player as you can't take both 2002 Lowe and Martinez

Correct. Lowe cannot be a teammate (which makes '02 Lowe a great nomination choice). I almost switched to a different RP as he came with a nice teammate as well.

Damn it, i hate when we change. I just did all the work on Spahn for nothing...........Oh well

Well, I’m not one to change for the sake of change but a big part of nominating 1996 Sheffield was Kevin Brown as his teammate. So I will probably come back with another choice. Stand By

I’ll switch to 1994 Fred McGriff 1B.

This is the exact reason why I allow changes. And also why I wait 24 hours after the last pick/change before the players lock in.

slainte hasn't opened sitemail. If he doesn't reply by end of day tomorrow, pmars2001 gets the last spot.
