I know you have to take this with a grain of salt, but Harden’s TS% is 61.6% and Shaq’s is 57.8%.

and if simmy gave up even half the irl FTAs it would take to get to those irl FTMs it would be a real game changer...

Geez, there are so many good players left. It may take me a day to decide on who to take when it comes back to me. 13 players picked now that were not selected in the last draft. How did T. Young and T. Harris last so long?

If that were to happen, everyone would be complaining about excessive fouls/FTAs. The number of fouls in a WIS sim game is close enough to RL imo. Each team fouls about 20 times per game irl. It used to be about 22 before the 3pt boom, about 24 in the 80s. In a $52M cap league, teams will draft 2100+ FTM. It's not realistic to attempt that many FT. It's the same as drafting 5 30 ppg scorers; if they're all on the same sim team, their usage & total points will be nerfed by playing with each other.

FTA/team/game is about 22 currently. It was about 30 in the mid 80s.

salary value is based in part on usage and usage minus expected FTAs is nerfed

of course part of the issue is also not just % fouled it is working in opposition to the defender's tendency to foul in some sense so there is an oppositional dynamic being expressed - of course w simmy being a little random it is sometimes hard to read the tea leaves

I'm going to do teams after they are done drafting and an overview after the draft. First 5 teams are up on PG1
