Re-Destribution Draft, v3 Topic

So two people will have over $16 million to spend and neither left 1980 open to draft Brett.
I was going to come close 15,300,00 if I risked losing my Bench 2 options (I was down to one, 1973 Floyd) and if three of my 1971 remaining.most expensive players got drafted. Since Brett costs 15,400,000 I would have also needed a few smaller ones. Close but no cigar so I went a different direction and took Floyd, Burgess, and Scurry and be satisfied with a top three or four pick.

Okay, I'm ready to start the draft for the next one. When's Version 4 coming out?

Well, the average salary cap is right about $110 million (and will go up a little more). The average team salary through 24 rounds should be about $102 million. And the average Bonus player costs about $6.1 million, the average unused salary per team should be around $2 million. The "wasted" salary per team will be more that, since in many cases, the Bonus player is replacing a starting player who might cost $4-5 million or more (and that starting player may not play much anymore).

I have a bunch of people coming over to the house in a few hours, so will be offline until either late tonight or tomorrow morning. Hopefully, things will continue to progress. Most people should be close to finishing their rosters. The Position Bucket Matrix shows a lot of 23's). It would be great if we got close to finishing tonight or early tomorrow, then I can set up the Round 25 draft before the weekend ends.

FYI - I posted a grid of the Bonus Players at the bottom of page 1.

bigsteve says he can be skipped as nobody can take any of the players he needs.

Most of those still drafting need their Bench3... so it's a domino effect. alice is the first domino.

I hope not until after I build my WISC Round 2 teams, which I've been holding off on until this was done. Some really time-consuming builds in there ...

Don't worry, it will be a while. Maybe when we hit game 120 from this season.

If Pedro had taken Mack a round earlier, I would’ve taken Francona and been within $100K of my cap. But alas, I’ll now be leaving nearly $2M on the table.

1968 Bill Sudakis Bench1 $923,610
1979 Tippy Martinez RP3 $3,022,755
I show you using 1979 in Round 18:
12 Jtpsops 1979 George Throop 200,596 88,913,595 RP7

Will send sm.
8/6/2022 5:22 PM
I'll finish with:

1989 Nolan Ryan (SP4)
1966 Eddie Fisher (RP5)

That will default me to a $300k player in Round 25
