calhoop's 1992 roster was the closest to getting all 24 players selected (and would have had I have drafted '92 Griffery Jr. over '72 Roy White, which I almost did). My 1989 team had the most salary drafted. The only players that went undrafted on that roster was a 200K reliever and Craig Biggio. FYI - Biggio was the ONLY eligible starting catcher with over 500 PA in 1989. vilefileman's 1970 roster saw all four SPs go undrafted. Maybe he shouldn't have drafted 1160 SP-innings. My 1968 roster had 5 of 8 starting batters go undrafted which isn't a big shock. Nobody could hit in 1968. midknight's 1987 roster had 5 of 7 RPs go undrafted.

Also, considering my 7 rosters (in theory) were the 7 least desirable rosters to build, I was very happy to see 6 of the 7 have an average or better-than average showing in terms of undrafted salary. Ranked in order, my seasons finished 1st (1989), 7th (1969), 8th (1963), 11th (1965), 12th (1983), 16th (1967) and 27th (1968) in terms of least salary undrafted.

Reminder

You are not allowed to pick a player that would put you over the $112M cap, if there is a cheaper player available to you. If you have no other option, then you will instead select a <300K player each round from that point on. You will also get a <300K player in Round 25. You will automatically be categorized as the highest salaried team and be put in the NL East.
Do all if these rules apply to getting stuck as well? The initial rules state that we draft a <$300K player and draft last in Round 25, but are we also relegated to a <$300K player in Round 25? Just want to clarify.
I can see why you are asking b/c it's not clear... and I see a potential loophole that I will now close.
.
"Like in version 2, we have 30 choices in each bucket so it will be a lot harder to get stuck (but not impossible). If somehow you still end up getting stuck and have to pick a default player, you will simply choose any <300K player from a season you didn't already draft. The player must be the same position/bucket that you defaulted at. You will also draft last in the round 25 draft."
.
Since this rule states "you draft last in round 25", there's an implication that you still get to draft a player, albeit the 24th choice in round 25. The loophole is that somebody could intentionally get stuck in order to get a 300K default player assigned to their salary, thus increasing the amount they could spend in round 25 (even if it's the last pick). To close that loophole, the salary applied for purposes of the round 25 pick will be the highest salary of the 30 players in the specific bucket you got stuck in. It's not quite the same as being forced to take a <300K round 25 player, but it will deter anybody from trying to get stuck.
Re-posting the question/answer that came up a few days ago, in case anybody is wondering why NebHusker is drafting where he is and how his salary was calculated.
