The pages display quite differently today, Friday August 19, 2022 compared to Thursday, August 18, 2022.

Not sure why this is?

I was on Chrome as well, tried another browser as well.

Chrome is back to normal now.

Earlier checking Larry Doby, the contents took about 40 inches to display what normally would be displayed in ten inches.

The pictures and uniform #'s were huge. only one uniform # wide displayed vertically.

Sports Reference emailed me they were aware of the issue. Later they emailed that the issue was resolved.

Would be hard to do research without Baseball Reference.com.

I wish they'd move those annoying mid-page ads to the side. One of the worst sites for ad location.

As time marches on, I'm getting more and more OK with ads (including on this site). If that's what it takes to keep the content free of charge (or in the case of the SIM, raising their fees to participate), then I'll tolerate some annoyances. Of course, I'm saying this in light of near 10% consumer inflation increases.

I don't have an issue with ads, my issue is with baseball reference having ads in the middle of the page. They load slowly and expand just about the time I click on something, and I end up clicking on the wrong thing because the entire page shifts down. It's just really annoying. I wish they'd put the ads on the side so they don't shift the entire page when they finally load.
