Well thanks ash...when I click on "scoresheet", it comes up on my screen as 19th. There must be something I need to click on to get the actual standings.

I’ve been adjusting my lineups every day…you guys just passed me by. Maybe I’ll try again next season but for now I’m getting smoked and definitely didn’t adjust to the new changes and seasons very well.

I think I know where I messed up. But that’s easier to say than to prove.

I know where I messed up. I didn’t take Dave Cowens.

Barely snuck a fifth team into the playoffs, which was probably the only chance I had at making a run at the top 3 - I only have one team that's really a contender. But ash also getting five into the playoffs is going to make him really difficult to catch. Ben, robusk, and ncmusician have a chance, with some very good teams, Amerk would have had a chance with five playoff teams and the 20-win bonus, but looks like he lost the 5th playoff team on the last day.

This thing looked pretty wide open as recently as a few days ago, when a few people were within 5-7 wins of ash and he wasn't guaranteed to get five in the playoffs. But then he closed on a 36-14 tear, locked up the all-5 bonus, and has byes in three worlds. I think if you gave me the choice between ash or the field, it would be a tough call, but I'd lean ash.

yeah man, absolutely devastating last 5 cycles for me. Killed any real shot I had at it.

If my world 4 team had went 43-39 instead of 42-40, I'd have 5 teams in the playoffs instead of 4. It is what it is.

I got reallllllllllllllly nervous about 4 days ago. I was fighting for the playoffs in two leagues and for the first time all season, wasn't in first place (games 75 & 76 I lost the top spot). Things were trending downward and my supposed best team was collapsing. I got extremely lucky to close things out, getting back-to-back motherf*ckin' birthdays and 14-1 overall in the final three cycles. I needed that bonus because I don't believe I have a single contender amongst my teams. I built this to make the playoffs in all five and as mentioned earlier put my best team in a world that had ten teams finish at or above .500 in the same conference. That team kind of crashed and burned out of nowhere, but fortunately, it at least made the playoffs in a furious conference.

If I were a gambling man, I'd take the field. In any case, this has been a fun season. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs!

Meh, you shouldn’t have been that worried. By the numbers you had probably the easiest and almost inarguably one of the three or so easiest draws (counter to my preseason predictions). Meanwhile the two people making moves were ncm and I and we had three of the hardest. So the more division games we got into, the more it was going to help you.

At the end we didn’t do enough. You built an awesome squad, had some things go your way and quite likely have the only path to victory. Ben almost assuredly has two ‘ships in front of him meaning it’s nearly impossible for anyone else to get two. Without that happening and barring a statistically unlikely collapse, you basically locked up the ‘ship even without a single ring.
