Just as a note in case it's not clear:
Franchise wild cards follow the history of the team (according to BaseballReference) NOT the team name.

So having the 2021 Orioles would not get you McGraw or Jennings, the AA team has no relation to the Orioles we know today aside from the name.
Having the 2021 Giants DOES get you Mathewson, Connor, Mays, etc. as the New York Giants are the same franchise as the SF Giants from today.

I did find one mistake which I have corrected on Page 1, Someone had the 1902 Yankees, which is actually the 1902 Orioles. So having the 1902 Orioles actually could get you Ruth or Gehrig via the Franchise Wild Card but NOT Ripken. Got it? No? Great!

With that said, if you're not sure which players are eligible for your team via the different lifelines, just ask.
If you make a request which isn't clear or isn't going to work, I will not bind you to them.

Is there a deadline yet for making our final decisions? I just returned from vacation so it will take me a day or two to get to this.

I have another question: if I were to use the divisional shift to change the 2012 Red Sox to the 2012 Yankees, could I then choose a Yankee for my Franchise Wild Card? Or do Franchise Wild Cards have to come from the originally assigned franchises?

There is no hard deadline, just build your team as you go.

Lifelines can be stacked, in fact, if you switch to the 2012 Yankees, you would lose the ability to take a Red Sox wild card.

I am taking two basic lifelines.
1. Franchise Wild Card: From my Washington National Franchise I will take from the 1986 Montreal Expos Tim Raines.

2. Small Shift: I will shift my 1943 Philadelphia Athletics one year up to the 1944 Philadelphia Athletics.

One basic lifeline is free. The second basic lifeline costs me $1,000,000. My new salary cap should be $149,000,000.

2. (3M cost) Intraleague Shift the 2002 Rangers to the 2002 Red Sox. again for pitching though i will grab some bats here as well.

I'll use 3 lifelines:

Franchise Wild Card: Ed Walsh, Chicago White Sox (free)
Small Shift: 2010 Phillies to 2009 Phillies ($1M)
Big Shift: 1899 Giants to 1904 Giants ($2M)

Salary Cap = $147M
