I would play but I'd need the cap to be lower not going to be a lot of parity I think otherwise
I think we can find 24 schools where the total salary would not be all that different from each other. My Kansas team is about $73 million. There will be schools with more and schools with less, but we should have no problem getting 24 schools that have enough NBA starters to get into this range.
A school like Houston has Birdsong, Drexler, Hayes, Olajuwon, Randy Brown, Cadillac Anderson and others.
North Carolina will be strong.
Michigan has Weber, Rose, Rudy T, Robinson
Every team is gonna have weaker guys at a certain position or two. North Carolina has Jordan, Cunningham and Worthy, probably Perkins and Kenny Smith starting. They should be very good, but someone could be better.
LSU with Shaq, Maravich, Chris Jackson, Pettit, Bass, Glen Davis
Michigan State with Johnny and Draymond Green, Magic, Randolph, Richardson, Steve Smith and Kevin Willis.
Syracuse with Coleman, Anthony, Bing, Douglas, Schayes, Seikaly,
Wake has Duncan and Paul to start.
What does Georgetown do with Ewing, Motumbo AND Mourning all there...along with Floyd, Green, Iverson. - Mourning is 100% at PF so there you go.
If you're loking for parity this may not be the league for you. If you're interested in what kind of teams that schools could put together then it may be. If this gets off the ground I will probably do anpother season where the 24 teams from the first season are not available, so we get down to leser teams and some players who don't normally get used on teams here.
I think we know that UCLA would be the best team, but I'd like to see which other teams would be the best of the rest. That's why I don't want a salary cap.
