How will you deal with a situation where two owners decide to bid $89 on the same player? Once that happens neither has an incentive change their bid in any subsequent round. If you create a tie-breaker, the losing owner will be left with a garbage roster.

Right now, no one gets that player. If they both keep making the same bid, neither player is going to get that player. Each user will have to decide whether the $89 for one player strategy is the right strategy for them. I'm open to suggestions.

I think maybe you should limit how many times in a row you can bid $89 for the same player because that could go on indefinitely.

I suggest having a round "zero". In Round 0 you can either pass or bid $89 on one player. If two or more owners bid $89 on the same player, a random draw is done to determine who receives that player. This will allow the losing owner(s) to enter Round 1 with a Plan B and full talent pool.

I don't think it's fair to have a round 0 and then give users a full talent pool after that. That kinda goes against the spirit of the league. Bidding $89 on one player is a strategy that anyone can use, but it will have the same rules as any other strategy.

I agree. I like the concept of bidding $89 for one guy. It’s like when kinoa got LeBron in the ODL and had to wait until after the draft was over to pick his other 11 guys.

How about do something along the lines of Scattergories, if there is a tie, neither person gets the player and that player is eliminated and is no longer eligible to be bid on.

Or we could just let Ben makes the rules and we play the game.

As another Ben I'd like to join and let the other Ben define the rules.
