I saw robusk's response to the Jokic pick. He probably went a little higher than he should. but I figured he would (and should) go higher than he did last season. The 21-22 season is just so insanely good.

I was between him, Admiral, and one other undrafted player. Jokic has five seasons that I can easily make work. Sure the defense is specious to put it delicately, but his seasons seem pretty easy to build around.

a savage clones edition would be pretty amazing...not sure if it would fill tho

i was thinking the seasons shouldnt be predetermined...the first owner has to announce which 5 seasons they are using once the clone is picked...maybe within something like 24(?) hours

Magic and Rodman is a nice pair to fill in around.

Ben off to a very good start too. That combo has been lethal in this league.

What about Savage, set up like the single season banned league? You draft 60 individual seasons. That shouldn't take long.

Yep, set the reg season wins record last time somebody got that pair.

Yeah ben has probably locked up a top 5 finish at least with a Kawhi/Hakeem start, lol. Right up his alley.

Not sure how I feel about Magic/Rodman. It's obviously a great rebounding start and takes a lot of pressure off getting board lords at the 4 and 5. But it sets you up to have a bit of an uphill climb in building your offense, since you'll need fairly efficient usage and threes without sacrificing too much with respect to backcourt defense where Magic is only OK. TBH I think I would have rather paired either one of them with Hakeem at the turn.

It will probably depend on who's there in the 3rd round though; such a critical pick for those late 1st picks because you have to wait so long for pick 4.

I wanted to take Olajuwon with my 1st pick, I just couldn't pull the trigger.

As it is, my entire fingers crossed list for round 2 just got completely blown up.

ltb with some nice value getting harden at 17...i think id have him ranked 11th overall...but you could also talk me into ranking him ahead of cp3/drob...he just brings so much to the table

I saw Ben’s plan a mile a way and tried my damndest this entire draft to trade with anyone within four picks of him, but couldn’t find any takers.

I only traded up for Shaq to make a more enticing trade down package. I would have rather been at 13 tbh, I just really wanted to stop Ben from a nuclear start. I even offered someone my prostate.

Pretty far behind the eight ball in terms of shooting, turnovers and threes at the start with a Rodman/Magic first two. But dBKC has won with surprising picks in the past.
