Italy's Glass Ceiling: Broken!! Topic

if you call someone him or her and it should be they, just apologize and say you will try not to do it again. If someone asks me to refer to them as they/them, how does it hurt me to comply with their wishes? Unless it is coreander. I kept calling them him just to annoy him/them.

Most trans/nonbinary people don't freak out and lose their mind if you accidentally misgender them or don't know. It's being an intentional douche that makes people upset (for good reason)

Like my Daddy used to say............show me a poor (working stiff) man who votes Republican and you'll be looking at an extreme fool!

the wealthiest overwhelmingly voted left

This isn't true. The super rich are mostly economically conservative (that's why the Republican Party fights so hard against raising taxes on wealthy people), Dems are mostly middle/upper class suburban people who hate Trump, and poorer people lean Republican.

I would argue that this is less about pure economic status and more about college education; college-educated people are generally more wealthy and more liberal. Conservative states also are generally poorer, so demographically it is impacted that way as well.

Anyway, I vote based on whose policies help working-class people, not just based on who working class people support most of the time.

Democrats are the party of the wealthy, IRS data shows

Democrats are the party of the wealthy, a flip from decades ago when it was the party of the poor and middle class.

Democrats represented 65% of taxpayers with a household income of $500,000 or more in 2020, according to IRS data, while 74% of taxpayers in Republican districts have household incomes of less than $100,000.

In 1993, the dynamic was reversed, with the typical Republican congressional district showing it was 14% wealthier than its Democratic counterpart. In 2020, data shows those Republican districts were now 13% poorer.

The data comes as some Democrats push to end former President Donald Trump’s 2017 tax law, which caps the federal deduction for state and local taxes at $10,000. The beneficiaries would predominantly be the 1% of the United States’s wealthiest households, with property owners in high-tax states benefiting from the relief on federal taxes.

A. A lot of super rich in California, New York...much fewer in North Dakota. You can even look at the breakdown within a given state: for example, upstate New York is much redder than wealthy as sh*t Manhattan. That's just the facts.

B. The part of my post you quoted referred to polling data from Italy's election so had nothing to do with Dem vs. Rep economic identities anyway

Yeah, the big two differences by party right now are college vs non college educated and urban vs rural.

So I was right. Dems are the party of kids of wealthy parents/college-educated marxists
