pbandj with the most interesting start so far....jokic/nash/jonas is probably the worst defensive trio you could start with...efg off the charts tho

I was so so stuck between Walton, Simmons and Buck. Could not make a decision. Traveling and had to go by gut while at a rest stop. It is what it is. Hopefully not a mistake.
You obviously should have picked Buck so I would have gotten one of the other two guys.

nice lil fall for buck williams...great value at the end of the 3rd
He was good value, and I considered him over Pau. Certainly would have put me in better shape in terms of rebounding, and to lesser extent defense. But I just can't get over the sheer number of turnovers (and to lesser extent fouls) he brings as a low-mid usage player. Really puts the onus on you to find "clean" players later in the draft, and that can be tough as most of those guys go fairly early. I just feel like whenever I get too heavy on turnovers in the early stage of a draft - especially this draft - I never can find a way to recover entirely from it.

Plus going Chandler in R2 and Buck in R3 would have left me behind the curve in terms of assists. Especially because I want to use the Curry seasons with 60+ efg but sub-20% assists.

BTW amerk may not have been all that pleased but I liked his picks at the 3/4 turn and like how his team is coming together. Klay and Allen are good fits with Lebron and Donyell, while inconsistent, sets him up well to build a couple really good teams. The next couple picks will be tricky but in good shape so far, IMO.

yea good point...buck loves his towels

pau is definitely one of the most versatile big men in savage...super clean too

Just adding to the chorus that even with two bigs I, too, was very torn on taking Buck. Agreed with tarheel though

LOL I completely forgot amerk took Wilt, not Lebron. Forget everything I said.

In that case - I still think the picks are fine but the fit is maybe not as great as I thought. Still not bad at all though.

I’ve had Pau a couple times. I invariably end up using him as a third big off the bench in most cases but he eats innings without ever taking much off the table. Like him a lot.

I feel like McHale at the end of round 2 and Buck at the end of round 3 were impossible values to pass on. Fit, I don't know.

Took AK over Draymond but having some regrets.

Tbh, I like what you are doing quite a bit. I also like AK’s fit significantly better than Draymond’s although you might need to pick a couple lesser seasons to keep him full time at SG. Rodman is the ideal fit with McHale but Buck sure ain’t bad. Plus LeBron gives you enough rebounding at PG. Great start, this could be your season.

Pau was the dream for me in the fourth. Probably saved me from myself. I should probably look to the backcourt

Once the other guy I was agonizing over gets picked, I'll see what the group thinks about me choosing Butler over him.

There's certainly a theme with Butler and Pau: super clean in terms of fouls and turnovers. I've got some work to do in terms of rebounding, among other things, but feel like I've left myself fillable holes with solid (if not elite) D and efficiency so far.
