Sure but also 8 of the most active users. It would have been a good idea to do it, I’m always a stickler for keeping it moving.
Not the end of the world though. The draft is the funnest part of the league so if he have some hiccups, it’s more time to shuffle our board.
How was the show? My friend saw them in Detroit on Saturday and said it ruled.
I try my hardest to be respectful of everyone's time - that's why I apologized in advance when I realized I'd probably be holding things up for a few hours. But with eight spots to go... I wish I could see that far ahead in the draft, but I really can't. I'm still dealing with players I've never had in any format, like Manu. Even if I had submitted a proxy list it would have been exhausted.
If it had been, say, the 10th round I probably could have gotten them in but I just have to let the draft 'come to me' for at least the first 6 or so rounds, it's just how I do it. I've set up some personal metrics like I think many of you have but I know they're still fairly raw so I do a few different checks before making my pick.
Show was incredible. Their opener was the guitarist from the Smiths so it was really strong all the way through. Happiest I've seen my Dad in a while.
