Nice, I've been curious to see whether someone grabs Marcus Smart.

I think I made a mistake somewhere after the first three rounds, but I haven't decided where yet. None of these teams I'm putting together really feel all that good to me. Maybe my lack of experience building around Curry is showing.

I feel the exact same. I am staring at these builds wondering how I don't finish in the bottom half.

I can't believe TJ McConnell lasted until the 12th after how well he did for me last season.

I think dkbc and Jhsukow have the two best teams. Dkbc May be able to offset the Kemp and magic TO’s with the clean play of Danny green, stoudemire, love, Kyle Anderson and Rasheed Wallace. Or will Kemp spoil the soup?
Jhsukow has a solid defense and rebounding 1-5 and has nice 3 point potential off the bench or starting. Otto Porter has been a favorite of mine so hopefully he does well for you.
As for my team:
PG D. Wade / T. Young
SG R.McCray / K.Middleton
SF B.Jones / J.Collins/ R.Gay
PF D.Jordan / K.O’Quinn / J.Collins
C C.Boozer / A.Sabonis / B.Marjanovic

I've never shared an analysis of my drafting before, but here goes:

Round 1 - Kareem: Originally had pick 7, with the best options being Shaq & Howard, who I've used before, so I traded to pick 13. At 13, the 2 best choices were Robinson (whom I've used before), and Gobert (whom I would have taken if I kept the pick). Was offered a trade for Kareem, so jumped over that. Don't think I've ever used any season of his before.
Round 2 - Shawn Marion: Used him once before in savage, and he performed good not great - just a solid innings eater type of player - and like the time I used him previously, picked him earlier than he typically goes. Marion is versatile and adds so much. Like before, I'll primarily use him as a SF. Brings 5 good seasons, and low TOs.
Round 3 - Ben Simmons: No brainer, despite the weirdness - only 4 seasons, no 3s, high fouls/TOs, and surprisingly bad position versatility.
Round 4 - Kyle Lowery: Again, don't think I've ever used him before. Good with Simmons since he has a lot of 3s, and my assists are mostly taken care of. Despite that, made a mistake here, should have gone for a PF.
Round 5 - Nic Batum: Was hoping to get my PF here - Unseld, who I've never used. Despite Unseld's D being gross, everything else fit. No one else jumped out at me, so I took Batum pretty early. My justifications were a) Batum has done well in recent Savages (won a title last year, finished second with me the year before), I needed players with really low fouls with Lowery and Simmons both being high fouling guards, needed rebounding from guards with the lack of a board lord. Also, his assists don't hurt. Looks like I am going to have an interesting back court. Still need a PF - 5 picks in, only one 4/5 player.
Round 6 - JaVale McGee: There were some higher minute PFs out there, but McGee is such a unique player. Looking back, I probably should have picked someone else to get those minutes, but thought the value + need worked. The next 2 people drafting shared they'd have likely drafted him, so no chance I would have seen him again. JaVale will be playing a lot of PF, despite the positional penalty, so get your DTs ready.
Round 7 - Tyrese Halliburton: Still need a PF - and a low foul PF at that - but those 2 seasons of Halliburton are so good. Got him in the 6th last year, and was certain Midge would have drafted him if I passed on him, so pulled the trigger pretty easily (so far Halliburton and Simmons were the easiest picks for me). So through 7 rounds, I have picked 4 guards....last year's draft, I picked 4 guards the entire draft. ****. I still need more guards too.
Round 8 - Marcin Gortat: Yay, finally got a PF. And for what I consider a low foul PF, he fit the bill. 5 solid seasons. Average rebounder, great EFG% actually and really really bad defense (not that different from Unseld). Best what I can do here. Should have taken a PF many many spots ago. Team is going to suck, with Gortat getting 8 to 10k minutes.
Round 9 - Thad Young: Another guard. Well, let's count him as a .5 guard, .5 forward. Definitely the biggest reason he was drafted were a few seasons for his guard minutes, but some other seasons might be a mediocre backup SF, so there's that. Ugh.
Round 10 - Roy Tarpley: Started some builds, and realized McGee only had 3 seasons that I was interested in using that had 4 usage points for Kareem's backup. Needed some backup center minutes, more PF minutes, and more quality PF minutes. Thought this was a savy pick for me - his short minute season is great as a back center for one of Kareem's seasons, his 2300 minute season would be a better starting PF than Gortat for another season (although crazy high in fouls), and if I couldn't make it work with a 2 usage point back for Kareem for one season or draft someone else, I could use his low FG% but decent rebounding and defense season a few minutes a game for Kareem's nearly 3600 minute season.
Round 11 - Ron Harper: Okay, tried some builds, and I need one good guard season, preferably with good defense. Tried using a Batum season with low usage / low assists, but gold everywhere else, and it hasn't gone well. So now we are at 5.5 guards, almost 1/2 my roster. Look, I think my guards are going to be pretty good with how many I have taken, but the reason I'll struggle is I likely have the worse forwards in the league.
Round 12 - Clarence Weatherspoon: Looks like I'll need a few minutes here or there at SF and PF for 2-3 seasons. Didn't want a foul machine and wanted some defense - sadly, he'll be useful. Plus I love the name Clarence. I usually like to use my 12th rounder on shoring up one team with a good single season player, but needed more.

As mentioned, I spent way too much draft capital on guards, my forwards (beyond Marion) are going to be a challenge. I think the strength of this team will be FG%, and probably finishing in 12 - 16 range - this team has better eFG%, assists, lower turnovers, about the same fouls, but less rebounding and defense than last year's team.

This is the first time I haven't tried drafting something close to an IRL team. The lack of a true PG might hurt me, but maybe I picked enough secondary playmakers to make it work. BillyC is the only guy I have slated for no minutes. I just like his versatility to sub for 1-4 in garbage-time.

PG- Iguodala, T-Mac, Cooper, Ingles, Siakam
SG- Iggy, T-Mac, KD
SF- KD, Siakam, Oakley, T-Mac, Iggy
PF- Camby, Dale Davis, Oak
C- Drummond, Plumlee

Yes, Clarence is good. I think he should be sitting on the bench playing the saxophone when he isn't playing.

spoons 00-01 season is a great pull in the 12th...almost impossible to find that kind of def/mins combo this late...hes one of the best rebounding sfs and really low on fouls too

Yea I did some playing around, and was able to substantially decrease Thad Young's weakest season minutes, to plug Spoon in there. I need the D and the rebounding, and the eFG% is only a little bit less.

Also, after closing investigating Thad Young's statistical career, his numbers are like a poorman's Marques Johnson.

PG: Butler/Conley
SG: Curry/D'Angelo Russell
SF: Millsap/Henson/Matt Barnes/Bell
PF: Gasol/Monroe/Millsap
C: Chandler/Dalembert

I don't think it's bad or anything, I'm just not sure it's good enough? Biggest concerns are rebounding (probably will be in the lower half in terms of rebounding %), defense (very few minutes going to guys with sub-50 defense, but a bunch of guys between 60-80 without many 90+), assists (for the teams with Butler seasons around 15% ast or below; others are probably fine), and that I may have drafted a little too much usage around Curry, which will take away from his value.

I was happy to start off with Curry/Chandler, who are a good fit. Gasol was a bit of a reach after my board got torpedoed, and is a main cause of some rebounding issues, but I'm always a sucker for guys with versatile, super clean games (see also Butler with the next pick). I thought about going with two SF picks at 5/6, Millsap and someone like Brandon Clarke, but ultimately I didn't see a clear path to getting another guard with good enough assists/defense/usage to pair with Butler (who is pretty low in minutes) so went with Conley and then Millsap. I think Millsap in the 6th was a good value and good fit for me because he'll mostly play SF but also back up Gasol on a couple teams. Maybe a little more usage than I needed from a SF.

The picks after R6 are just sort of boring I guess. I needed more guard minutes after the Curry/Butler/Conley trio than I realized and DLo will probably be getting more minutes than he should. I was going to take a better backup guard with 1.5 seasons or so (Tyreke Evans) but decided to get 1600 minutes of Jordan Bell instead. Maybe a mistake.

We'll see. First time building around Curry in this setting so maybe I'll surprise myself. The numbers just don't seem great.
