Considering he only plays 22 minutes a game. I doubt he was kidding. Drafting backups this early happens all the time. I’ll be drafting two next round if everything falls right.

Well we are picking 7 guys so you have to draft at least 2 backups, but I think the 4th round is a bit early for a backup.

Yeah they’re right it’s really important for by backup guard to have certain perimeters then it is for me to get my last starting positions.

I’ve picked a backup with my second pick. Getting your usage settled is more important than drafting some low usage wing player who is going to start.

The 4th is fine for players who can either start or come off the bench, depending on how the rest of the roster plays out.

I think you’re overrating the idea of being a starter. It’s important to be good all game not just the first 6 and last 6 mins.
