Ok…Savoy, go ahead and pick and u will take over Pick 17 as your 2nd team. Let’s see if we can get another current owner to take over amerk’s 1st team which has picked Jerry Lucas with the 10th pick.

Let’s all put aside recent drama and just play. I am so excited to see this draft unfold and what kind of teams we can all build.

Okay, but I'll also take the Lucas team if you can't find anybody.

BY THE WAY, I commend you on a GREAT decision with your first act as commissioner. That's exactly what I was thinking should be done. Find someone to take the Lucas team. Lucas was the last REALLY dominant player in this draft. One of the top eFG's in the league and a great rebounder.

I will be posting season one of the TYDL (10 year decade league) in the basketball team lead classifieds section tonight when I get home from work. We will start with 2004-05 to 2014–15.. each subsequent decade will be similar ears, i.e. 19 84–85 to 1994-95 and so on


anyone who has been in the DDL is welcome. They want to guarantee I will make. Is that Savoybg We’ll never be allowed in that league or any of my other leagues in the future.

This is like the time when I was a little kid and one of the mom’s in the neighborhood took her kid and my best friend to Putt—Putt, but didn’t invite me when we all 3 were playing together. My mom found out and the next day she waited til she saw the kid walk over to his house to play and called and invited my friend but not him to go to Putt-Putt. :). All I know is my best friend got to go to Putt-Putt twice.

2004-05 to 2014-15 is not 10 years, it's 11 years. You need to change the name of the league, or drop a year from one end.

2004-05 to 2014-15 is not 10 years, it's 11 years. You need to change the name of the league, or drop a year from one end.
I will call it whatever the F I want to call it *** hat! Everyone will want to win a TYDL! It’s all in the acronym! Have fun running everybody out of this league! I feel sorry for rift, trying to keep things afloat. I never want to do abandon things like this, but just the left no choice.. “one bad apple…“ and I’m not talking about rift

Hold up a minute. Amerk is commissioner of this league and as such he can ban savoyBG. There are 2 other owners banned from the DDL. So savoyBG either refrain from editorializing or leave, that was the option you were given by the commissioner. You are in violation of the DDL rule that clearly states “No pi$$ing in the commissioners Cheerios, coffee cup or on his leg.”
Also the rules clearly state that you cannot trade draft positions, savoyBG picks 22nd his current pick is NEGATED

Amerk quit. He is starting another league. It’s a win-win for (almost) everybody as we can play in both leagues if we want. We are moving on. We already have his teams covered. Redbooda is up.

One of the many things in this medium that is a challenge for a commissioner is for his integrity. It cannot be done via resume or referral. In this anonymous environment it can be done only by establishing a track record of honesty in his body of work. Amerk has done that. The problem develops when a player, even half-jokingly, plants a seed of supposed unethical behavior on the part of the commissioner. No commissioner, particularly one like Amerk, should have to defend himself against that type of baseless accusation.

I’ll talk with Amerk and see what can be done about keeping everyone on board. Amerk said savoyBG or himself, savoyBG is gone and Amerk stays. All picks after #16 are tentative while I see what can be done.

You don't really know for sure if he was always honest with the draft lottery, and in light of him admitting that he intentionally did not notify me about the new season, hoping I would not find out about it, it at least opens up his integrity to be scrutinized.
