Genuine Question for Conservatives Topic

Tucker Carlson interviewed Kanye for his program about a month ago. In the interview that was shown to the public, Kanye talks about a lot of stuff, but is mostly framed as a victim of the leftist woke mob or whatever. Recently, the full version was leaked, and it turns out that Tucker cut out bits of the interview where Kanye was being explicitly antisemitic.

My question to yall is why you think Tucker did this and, knowing what Kanye said about Jews in the interview, still chose to cut the interview so that the he appeared to be a victim of the media and not antisemitic.

Please discuss. I'll give the real answer at the end!

Times like these are when I really wish CCCP was still around. What I would give to hear his defense for the GOP after he called the Dems antisemitic for not supporting Israel hard enough.

Just another brief discussion question; isn't it crazy how the conservative moment was gushing over Kanye when the original interview took place?

And then he replaced "globalists" with "Jews."

God said, "I will bless them that bless thee, and will curse them that curse thee' he was referring to Israel, and as long as the US stands with Israel against their enemies, God will bless the US of A.

Anti Semites are under God's wrath.. forever

I have no idea why Tucker did anything.. and I am not going steady with Fox (Julie is a lot sexier)

Because FOX is no better than the MSM.
They are just pushing a different narrative.
Ye's comments were edited out because they ruin the narrative FOX is pushing.

I think it's very interesting how the left argues that white people hold a disproportionate share of power in the corporate/political sphere but as soon as the phrase "white people" are replaced with "Jews" it suddenly becomes very problematic.

And nobody wants to face the facts: Us Jews are highly overrepresented as CEOs/media moguls etc. We make up what, 1% of the pop? Now, you can use these facts and be anti-semitic about it, definitely. But the overrepresentation is just a fact, period.

And the double standard needs to end. If it's ok to critize white overrepresentation, it should be ok to discuss other overrepresentation too.

I don't disagree, however the stuff Kanye was spewing is batshit crazy.
12/15/2022 9:42 AM
I also agree. Kanye has always been a batshit crazy narcissist. I've never been a fan of his music either. But it makes me laugh, if you go back 6 years you'll see leftist after leftist arguing that Kanye West is the voice of a generation (on par with a Dylan, Cobain etc) and that if you don't believe so you are racist.

This sentiment^ was everywhere 2014-2016...gosh, how the turn tables.
12/15/2022 10:04 AM
Well, I don't know about "everywhere"..........I SURE AS HELL never figured the feller you're talking about as the voice of anything!
Furthermore I object to your usage of the word "music" being associated with what he creates(d). And that don't make me a racist.

Dinosaur, maybe, person of (at least) a modicum of musical taste is my honest assessment...........but that's just me and I'm good with that.

If you have to qualify your statement with "but I'm no racist" it usually means you are...

Standard leftist talking point 101.

Well, I admit to not enjoying rap. If that makes me a racist than I'll cop to it.
Course I hate Opera just as much.
And really don't care for polka much.

Not enough guitars!

Finish the thought. What is the NARRATIVE that Fox is pushing and why can't Kanye's antisemitism be included in that narrative? Why intentionally cut it out

No one says that you can't mention that Jews are overrepresented. Every reasonable person acknowledges this.

It's like the dumb 13/50 stat. People don't deny that it exists. They deny the larger narrative surrounding it and have a different explanation than the racist crowd. The reason why people get triggered when the Jewish overrepresentation gets brought up is that it's usually Nazis JQ posting. If you're going to bring up that stat, you're going to need to provide an explanation that isn't "hmm, you decide."

It's still music. You can not enjoy it and admit that it is a valid artistic form.

Because if they air all of the batshit crazy stuff he said then it invalidates the "MSM is unfairly attacking Kanye simply because he is a "conservative"" narrative.
