after i posted i went and looked at the previous draft so i understand your options.
jabbar and jordan are my preferred option but i have no heartburn with any of them.
besides what do i know i usually don’t do well in this league but i try from time to time.

If you have a replacement owner would it be better to let them decide at 2:30 or are we going to give hoopsdude more time to come back after that pick?

The current plan is if hoopsdude hasn’t shown up by his second pick I will give the team to someone else. I already have a replacement manager in place and I also have another replacement manager standing by in case someone else is a no show.

I hate to pull the plug on someone too soon. You never know what might be going on in their life. A while back a very dependable manager was a no show and when he finally came back it turned out that his mother had passed away.

good point. with the blizzard hitting the country it may be something as simple out of power. also there will be a break when we near christmas.

Ron brought up a good point. Is anyone living in an area where they are expecting to get clobbered by a blizzard and possibly lose power? It would be a good idea to let me know before it happens so I can be aware that you might go dark (go white?) for a bit. Also, do blizzards knock out cell phone towers? Would people still be able to text if they lose power? I am will to stay in touch with people via texting if need be.

i live near Montreal we will start seeing the storm starting later tonight. i live in a suburb in Saint Constant usually we maintain power but there are no guarantees when it comes to a flash freeze mixed with snow.
