This may seem like an odd choice, b/c they have no stud pitchers, but there is solid pitching depth. Both the offense and defense are very strong compared to other groups in this league. The pieces fit together nicely.

That's the team I was targeting.

Of my 13 teams in round 1, my favorite team to manage was the 2003-2012 Braves. They were anchored by a pair of Chipper Jones clones: 2007 and 2008. Let's try to make that magic happen again. While the starting pitching is not stellar, the bullpen is phenomenal (Saito, Soriano, Wade, Broxton, Moylan), and in my estimation the lineup is the best in League 13.

I kept waiting on this league, because there are two teams I wanted, and I was hoping somebody else would make the decision for me. Since I don't have another pick for a while, I think I have to make the decision now and it may surprise some people.

I dont draft for an extremely long time but it would be great if the teams selected were highlighted or something on the first sheet like a draft so it at least narrows down for the rest of of schmucks....

Juice will catch up this weekend. He’s on vacation. Don’t worry he keeps up well.

There is a team out there screaming to be picked, but some of their key players really sucked for me in round 1, so I am going to pass. Instead, I am going to double up on a league. I am going to have two teams in 14 (of 15) leagues, so I might as well have some fun with one of my teams.

Most of the pitching staffs in this league are going to suck. This team's pitching staff is around league average, the defense is average, but the offense is going to crush it. And unlike my Ruth teams in round 1, this group won't have to face a bunch of dead-ball pitchers.

The first 11 choices represented teams in 11 different leagues. The next 4 choices represented the 2nd team in a league. Leagues 3, 5, 7, 10 are still untouched. There is no rule where somebody in the Top 30 couldn't take a 3rd team in a league, if he wanted to.
