He probably won't even get to 14!

It's going to be really interesting to see how correlated draft position and winning% will be in this round.

I actually thought about this way too late to suggest, but one thing juice *could* have done to help out those teams drafting late, would be to allow a free agent pick, in reverse order of the draft, with the following two restrictions:

(1) Free agent must come from the same season range as your selected combo. So if you drafted a 2019-20 team, your free agent must come from one of the undrafted 2019-20 teams.
(2) Your free agent position must be the opposite of your clone. So if you cloned a pitcher, your free agent would have to be a hitter, and vice versa.

Are there a lot of stud free agents available? Probably not a lot. But this would have helped fill a hole that almost every team has. I bet more 2021-22 teams would have been drafted under this scenario.
Second guessing juice will not help in bringing him back in the future.
With my two teams with low picks I dont want anything extra.I don't like this at all

Are we allowed not to complain? My teams are 17-13, so I'll take that. Other than a #8 pick starting 0-3, it's basically a solid start.

It's always fun to wake up to this...

League 3
1915-16 White Sox/Cardinals
Up 5-3 in 8th, allow one 1 run 8th and 2 runs in 9th. Lose 6-5

League 6
1949-50 Giants/Braves
Up 8-2 thru 6th, allow 4 runs in 7th and 7 runs in 9th. Lose 13-8

League 8
1971-72 Orioles/Phillies
Up 3-0 going into 9th, allow 3 runs for tie. Take lead in 11th. With two outs, nobody on, give up run. Lose in 12 innings 5-4.

League 10
1991-92 Orioles/Rangers
Up 4-2 going into 9th. Two outs, one on, give up 2 runs. Lose 5-4 in ten innings.

There were five other 1-run games that were were decided by a team scoring 1 run in the 9th inning. I went 2-3 in those.

Thru game 5, there are still 17 undefeated teams. I will post the first standings update when we get down to 1 or fewer undefeated teams.

As the owner of a couple, I’d like to say I hope it takes a while.

Can we institute this now? Asking for a friend with lots of late picks…

A total of 11 "Top 30 teams are below .500. That's 37%

Five of my nine "Top 30" picks are below .500. That's 56%.

There are two teams with a 10-1 record thru 11 games. These teams were selected 11th and 16th in their respective league drafts. Of the 44 teams 8-3 or better, the average draft position of those teams is 9.5. We are all idiots.
