I didnt see any reference to the scheduling. if balanced or limited Interleague.

What will happen next season if one Yankee team keeps Mantle and the other Yankee team cuts Mantle - will that version of Mantle be available in the draft pool ?

I don't like it when people ask me to think...........

If there are 2 Yankees teams - one AL and one NL - and one of them cuts Mantle. Then he would be available for the teams in that league to draft.

Example - AL Yankees cuts Mantle. He would still exist in the AL universe and would enter the draft for the AL. Notations of such situations will be made on the draft board. The same would apply to split season players.

So there can be two of the same team? I'd like to do the Phillies, but not if there's another Phillies in the other league.

There can be two of the same team. One for the AL and one for the NL. However, there will be no interleague play until the World Series so I hope this would minimize your concern about having the Phillies play the Phillies during regular season series.

I have given the entire question more thought. The easiest way to solve this, administer and understand it will be two draft boards - AL draft board and NL draft board.
