Trying to figure out when to start te clock on the draft.

I know a lot of people are doing their research.

I'm thinking of starting the clock on Friday with early picks available at any time before that. Two hour timeblocks for the first and fourth rounds, three hour blocks for rounds two and three with a half day break between rounds two and three.

Let me know if that won't work for anyone.

If no complaints, I'll post the timeslots tomorrow.

If you pick sixth and the first five picks are made way early, let's say by Tuesday, don't feel pressure to pick before you're ready. We all understand this draft takes some research and thought. If you aren't ready to go early, don't feel bad about waiting for your timeslot.

I don't pick until #13, but I know who I would take if I had the #1 pick. I know they won't make it to my pick, but I'm looking forward to seeing how long they last.

Timeslots are up for round one on page one.

Kentol can draft whenever he's ready but he shouldn't rush.

If I didn't know better, I might think I have 5 picks in round one.

Just think of all the extra picks you'll accrue by Friday.

How many more midnights until you become eligible for full knighthood?

Way passed that, I was knighted at birth. Sadly no one calls me Sir. Old fart is more common.

Good answer, Sir. I was a "mid" bit confused.

OK - After much deliberation (and keeping in mind the $80 mil salary cap), I'll start off this draft with the 1945 Chicago Cubs.

I have 13 teams on my list (since I pick 13th), and this was one of them. Very versatile roster you've got there.

Would have been in my top 5 for sure. I'm picking 14th and didn't rank them yet since I can wait until it's a little closer to my pick. But it's a fine selection for sure with a few nice lineup or rotation additions and a few cheapies if needed, too.
