It just occurred to me that the nice thing about chewy winning the league is that when he writes the evals we get to hear more chewy scores.

Here is where we stand…

pointfwd has been on the clock for 15 hours so far, but he is not yet aware that we have started.

Option A: I hope he shows up soon, makes his pick, and we carry on drafting at the speed of light.

Option B: If he hasn’t shown up after 24 hours I recruit a replacement, who makes his pick, and we carry on drafting at the speed of light.

Option C: Midge puts up a poll with several good players, we vote on which player that team gets, we move on with the draft, and then either pointfwd shows up and either keeps the guy or trades the guy, or a replacement manager takes over the team and has an all NBA team guy as his first pick.
Imo recruit an owner now to pick right at the 24 hour mark.

beloud had a very high chewy score of 77.5 and he had the best record in the league.

beloud had a very high chewy score of 77.5 and he had the best record in the league.
Yeah seemed like chewy did a good job. Had an average rating the for the champion but otherwise pretty spot on.

Maybe 71.5 is the sweet spot for chewy scores you and chewy got that. Seapilots score was probably the farthest from being accurate.

Okay, here's the current plan. I'm going to give pointfwd the customary 24 hours. If he hasn't picked by then I am just going to take a second team. If someone else wants a second team please let me know before the deadline and I will gladly step aside. Thank you.

Oops, I skipped Bird Law, so they are in the wrong spot. He underestimated his own team and he missed on seapilots, but for the most part the chewy system works very well for predicting team success.

Embiid and doncic I feel went about 10-15 picks to high. It will be interesting to see what other 22-23 season reaches we will have.
