I gave everyone a week to indicate returning and during that time I sent you 3 sitemails which you didn't open. We had 3 owners on the waitlist. I will put you on the waitlist for season 80.

This is the only league I play and I got zero (0) email notifications that these emails were sent, and I see they were sent over a weekend. One of the emails you sent me was an empty one titled "trade\" with nothing inside, which is incoherent and looks like an error. There are also multiple people in the league who can reach me other ways and you made no comment in the league like "Hey anybody heard from pumpkinmcp" before he gets replaced. The World Series ended at ~1:00 a.m. on May 22 and you set the deadline for that same day at 5:00 p.m. The second I got a notice the season had ended I went to the league and posted I wanted to return.

Been in the league for 10 years and this completely sucks and is a complete deviation from how end of season turnarounds work. You've literally reversed like 5+ picks in a draft because somebody couldn't be bothered in the middle of a timed round, but I get turfed out like this.

You literally just emailed me this copy/pasted post so I would draw your attention to this portion of the post you're quoting:

You could probably have just...not had the deadline to rejoin be 3.5 hours after Game 7 of the World Series would have run, given that we have historically taken multiple days between seasons before we reload, something I kind of assumed we'd do again based on being in the league for 10 years. Or that a thread would be posted with a list of who's returning so, again, my friends in the league would notice I hadn't gotten a slot and they could ping me elsewhere since my sitemail was not forwarding to my email as I have it set up to do.

It would be good to define deadlines like when people will be dropped for signups as well as during the draft. We've all been guilty of it, but knowing what the parameters are might help us all.

We literally have timed drafts with slots that people blow off, sometimes for days at a time, and we sit around posting about what we're going to do before we skip a pick let alone kick an owner out of the league.

BeAllEndAll is up to draft. He can pick anytime.

Look, I certainly didn't mean to upset pumpkin. I respect him and all the owners in this wonderful league. And I certainly wasn't trying to make this a public spectacle, He is upset and ripping on me both here and in private sitemails. I'm just not going to accept getting hammered by anyone because of their decisions to ignore sitemails and/or deadlines for over a week. I will leave my posts here up for another 8 hours and then delete them all so we can move on with the draft.

There is always a timed draft. The time begins on Friday. Nothing new.
