For real can we do something next round that isn’t random and looks at where people picked in prior rounds? Picking 12th here and picking 24th in the other league vs. Ben going 1st twice in a row doesn’t seem like an equitable split. I’m not saying there was any funny business at all, but seriously…some equity would be cool.

I am not sure picking 1st is always a good thing. I prefer just playing the cards I am dealt.

If you don’t like where you are you can trade to another spot.

Missed the results last night. I'm going to give it 1 hour and see if anyone is around that wants to trade and then pick to not hold up draft further

This seems like the fairest way possible. A random way to select the order where all 24 owners can easily variety the results.

I'd stick with random, everything else is needless complication until we have evidence that the first pick is some tremendous advantage.

What if you just reversed the order in the next draft? This way everyone has the same variance over two separate leagues.

Waffled hard between three guys, they all seem like the right pick. This is the last of the three I thought I would go with but when I gamed it out, it seemed to make the most sense.

would you like to trade spots PB&J? I'll trade with you. It's only one up, but you can take it if you want.

I'm good, and I appreciate the offer Pex, truly.

I just wish we (and I am as guilty as anyone because I should have thought of this) would have considered how to make the draft a bit more equitable. Everyone does have the same 1/24 shot at drafting, but we know what the tiers generally are and the quality of those picks on the top end can outweigh those picking toward the bottom in one draft. It would have been reasonable to have those at the bottom of the first draft, pick toward the top in the next draft.

Again, please hear that I do not think that I believe that anyone has done anything that is unethical. Not in the least. I just don't think we considered everything by randomizing every draft.

well he was one of the players i had considered for this pick but with him gone i will go in a different direction and take a player i have never drafted in the many various leagues i have participated. it should be fun to see what he can do.
