Another question. If a free agent played on two different teams in the same year, can both versions be drafted (assuming neither of those two teams are among the list of team to be drafted)?
Example:
1949-50 Red Sox take '50 Jim Hearn (Giants) as their pitching free agent
Can the 1949-50 Yankees take the Cardinals version of '50 Jim Hearn?
I started out thinking that in the "Jim Hearn" case that one person could draft the partial season he had with the Cardinals and another person could draft the partial season he had with the Giants - and noone would be able to draft the "entire season" Jim Hearn.
Then I got to thinking...
I'm getting lazy in my old age and really don't feel like going through every roster and verifying partial seasons for the correct teams, and yada, yada, yada...
I'll say that two different owners can each draft Jim Hearn with one showing up as a Cardinal and one showing up as a Giant - and I won't care if it's a partial season or an entire season choice.
