agree on chewy, giannis is badass with Towns, Ibaka and Reed. Not a big fan of the Green pick, but Bledsoe that late is a good grab.

Everything went downhill after I gambled that neither Ben nor Gerry (who already had their 4/5) would take Zo. It's all gone so terribly wrong.

Not to rub salt in the wound, but I have some buyer's remorse with Zo. He completes my 3-man rotation at 4/5 with Duncan and Bam that provides the usage/scoring/defense consistency that I desired, but I'm coming up way short on rebounds ...

Every time I make a pick I imagine Rob saying something about how he hates (fill in the blank player that I just drafted) and Ben saying something like "that's not the pick I would've made" trying to be nice.

Then I laugh at myself and my performance in the last Savage.

I struggle with picking the guy who has 1-2 really good seasons over the guy who has 5 pretty good ones. I think it’s screwed me in previous savages and maybe it has screwed me again. For instance pierce vs Mitchell at SG.

Two teams that jump off the page so far to me are chewy and db. Plenty of other teams close and could pull it together

Good teams need to draft both (low minute studs and decent players with 4+ high minute seasons). You can only afford to platoon 1-2 positions. There’s no wrong answer to which position you platoon. Last season I platooned SG (SGA/Penny/R Harper/some of Marion’s mins). This season I’m platooning bigs. But you have to get guys like Pierce at a few positions to pull it off at other positions.

yeah, dBKC's looks good. I like ben's team. If Sukow figures out where to get some backcourt defense his team will be terrifying. ty84moss and berk are off to intriguing starts. Some moron drafted Kobe and Dame on the same team and is scrambling for frontcourt minutes.

Iggy has frustrated me a lot in the past but I like Wright a lot.

Ash, you, dbkc, Ben, ragged, chewy, Jcred all basically guaranteed top half. Just makes an already tough theme even tougher.

And that’s not to discount 16 other really good owners that each of us have to compete against.

Most of us could hand pick our starting 5, and that elite group at the top could pick from what's left and they would still own the podium.
