I thought about all 3 of them but went with Lajoie for his defense at a key position and that he should hit all the deadballers well. Passing on Ruth felt a little like sacrilege, I admit. There's no wrong choice, though. All will rake. The problem is who's going to pitch for us ...

I know! If I thought Ruth was going to be there, I would have taken one of those. Early strategies for this draft are much different then the DEP and DEAL drafts I've been in. The clone rounds are definitely playing a role.

For the record, today (Saturday) is the last day of my vacation. I may or may not be able to check in on these drafts for the rest of the day today.
