Guys, I've spent a lot of time thinking about this theme and I think something needs to change.
I don't want people to be in a situation where it's impossible to draft enough innings or plate appearances. I would assume everybody will use at least 4 of their 9 "teammate" slots for starting pitching. Of the 9 hitters nominated, there are only 3 players that have enough full-time seasons to go around (Rollins, Murphy, Cabrera). That leaves each team one full-time player short (assuming each person uses 4 spots for SP and 5 spots for starting lineup positions). This doesn't even factor in using teammate relievers.
I don't want to have to start the nomination process over, so this solution hopefully causes the least amount of inconvenience. Two changes.
1. I am changing the player nomination rule from 7 pitchers to 6 pitchers. Since we are at 6, the last nomination must be a hitter.
2. There will be no DH in use in this league.
These two changes adds another potential starting batter to our list of options, while also removing the need for 9 starting batters. This should alleviate any issues with PAs and IPs.
If you want to change your nominated player, feel free to do so.
