It's clear to me now, so I'm good with the rule for this season. Let's see how it works.

Sorry, late to this discussion. Why not just make a DH like a wild card that can be subbed for any position that they have a rating for? Why just at OF?

A true wild card would make such a player EXCEPTIONALLY valuable compared to most. However, OF is the easier position to fill, as most teams seem to have a decent hitter in the OF somewhere.
This is a mid-point position between exclusion and wild card. This way, you don't truly lose 600+ AB with a UTIL/DH, but you also don't gain that much because they just squeeze out your 3rd best OF.
A true wild card would dramatically weaken the power of the dagger.

Another "nearly final" thought as the draft creeps nearer.
Say you have an important meeting, or a planned date night, during your draft time.
You could backchannel me with a couple of ranked picks and I would submit the highest untaken one on your behalf.
If you are picking right after me and wanted to do this, I would ask someone to volunteer for a similar role.
But I don't mean send me 20 and leave the grid. I just mean a couple....

I've updated some material on page 1, marking out teams selected and showing the assignments in r2, r3, and the dagger rounds.
When you draft, please site mail the next person up (and maybe on deck, in the hole) to help keep things moving.
If the draft speed continues to be excellent, I am happy to drop draft deadlines for future rounds.

I have a weird thing going on where I cannot send sitemails or even answer sitemails. If I try to answer it just shows me a white page that never changes.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Just give it time?
Something similar has happened to me about 10 times in the past week. But an hour or so later, it works again.

Try using a different browser. I have had trouble with google chrome but switched browsers and now everything is fine

I've also had to clear cookies on my browsers, and sometimes that works for a while.
