My thinking on this completely aligns with gworeear.I will stay if WIS allows you 2 wild cards.But I somehow doubt they will do that.

Oh the frustration with a 162 game season being upended by the crapshoot playoffs. Would be cool if there was an option to give rewards to the best record so that even if you lose to the wildcard, you still feel good about things

I think they would if it's possible, but if there's no way to adjust the sim for that, then they won't.

Okay, so that seems to be the main reason, only 2 playoff slots in a 12 team league. So most of you guys are about making the playoffs and trying to win the championship. That would be nice, but that's secondary to me to the 162 game test in the regular season. That's always how I judge my team.

Okay Rattlers, your roster is good. I'm amazed that you resisted taking some of the bigger stars you had available, but I guess it was the salaries that scared you away from 54 Mays and a few other guys. I knew you had to take both pitchers from the 1903 game, and 54 Wilhelms is certainly a stud. Taking 41 year old 1915 Honus Wagner was a surprise, but I guess the price was right.

Rattlers is playing in Memorial Stadium in Baltimore.

That's one GOOD thing about a 12 team league with just the division winners in the post season. You only need to win one series for the championship.

I'm happy to try the 12-team league, but, generally, I'd say, more teams, more variety, more interesting, more fun.

Here's what they said about having more teams in the playoffs.

Hello Bruce,

At this time there is not a playoff format for 12 teams that allows more than 2 teams into the playoffs. One of the things we want to do with future developments is allow more flexibility for theme league settings.

I was also thinking there would be 24 Teams in this League and was in no hurry to Enter only because I have 20 Active Teams and others with Drafts now and upcoming ... ?I would do a 24 Team League so next time for me and Sorry

I vaguely remember asking Admin if i could change the number of Teams in a League without having a new MLB number but do not remember what they said
