Seems like you are serving up the obvious with the offering of the 1977 SF Giants. I see you have 1B Zeke Bonura on another team as an option-- should I take the bait of your Giants mystery first baseman. Bonura is your most expensive option at that position. Looking across the Giants roster, there just isn't much danger there. Starter Ed Halicki (sounds like a football ref flexing his guns) is decent value, but he is over 6 mil and you have many options elsewhere. Not sure if you will pay reliever Gary Lavelle (sounds like a failed Pontiac model that was to rival Chevy in the 70s) at that 3.5 mil price. Either way, those guys cost you more.

Guess I'm going to give you, your damn wish, substitute commissioner.... Mystery man 1B Willie McCovey is no longer available for either of your 67 or 77 Bay area Giants.

Beernoser you did a good job putting together your offence as i couldn't find 1 player that would be a great dagger.
So I looked at the pitching side you do have depth and options when it comes to SP but when it came to RP there was 1 player that stood out as your best RP also the only Good 77 Mariners pitcher so Im daggering Enrique Romo P
Also the Baker Bowl is gone.

geez whalers10, that team is potentially a juggernaut. There are so many options that I think your team is nearly un-daggerable. I feel like Willie Mays off the '57 team is dangling there as bait because you likely can't roster him, or if you do just to get 6 Giants, you'll have to give up a lot somewhere else. You have tons of pitching options so taking out Marv Grissom would be a drop in the bucket. There are even other low budget options at Pitcher. I could take one of those out, but you'd be like one of those amphibians where you chop an arm off and another one grows somewhere else. The best I can do for the good of the league is to think what I would do to roster all your studs. I think I'd try to take a decent, low budget, though low AB Hank Sauer off this team and make up the ABs somewhere else. So, no Hank Sauer but who knows if that dagger will hurt at all.
