I wasn't quick enough on the trigger to grab any of the really good closer-types in this draft so I'm loading up on any starters that will hopefully give me some good enough innings at the end of ballgames. I've already got 1971 IP's...lol.

I really am enjoying this draft though. It's a lot different from the other team I took. I grabbed the Cincinnati team - and I'm sure glad noone else wanted that city. Cincinnati may be known as the home of professional baseball but until the 60's and 70's came along, they didn't have a lot of "superstars" to speak of. Having to spread a draft out between two or three owners - man it would have been horrible.

I wish I had taken a second team. Hopefully, you're using the 1897 Fred Clarke. I once got to use that year in a progressive for 18 seasons and got 4200 hits out of him.
