Putting the pieces together to form the five rosters will be a fun experiment. It's going to be interesting to see how many people can pick up more wins by optimizing their rosters better than others. I imagine quite a bit of luck will be involved as well in terms of what versions of our teams match up against which versions of other owners.

I used to do something like this with strat-o-matic cards but being a kid with no $ my players were limited.
This draft process has led to sleep deprivation and a small amount of bleeding from my ears.
Competing against so many knowledgable owners who are very familiar with this database is a challenge.
Each passing round creates a diminishing expectation of success for my teams.
If one or two of my teams make the playoffs I'll consider it an overwhelming success.

Finished building my rosters. My average team salary is $158 million, but that includes a lot of dead money on innings that won't be utilized. I have roughly 2500 innings per team (I drafted almost strictly SPs but will use them in relief). I have very little waste from my 12 rostered batters.

Finished building my rosters. My average team salary is $158 million, but that includes a lot of dead money on innings that won't be utilized. I have roughly 2500 innings per team (I drafted almost strictly SPs but will use them in relief). I have very little waste from my 12 rostered batters.

In your opinion what do think these leagues will play like for cap? You had a good draft. Guys you drafted that I was getting ready to draft were Russ Ford, Benny Kauff(that's the one I really wanted and waited too long) Tiny Bonham, Steve Ontiveros, Tom Gordon.

Whew... I thought I might have taken Russ Ford a bit too early, so I'm glad to hear that I didn't. Benny Kauff was a guy I had targeted for a long time and was trying to determine when to pull the trigger. I was doing my draft writeup as the draft was taking place, so when I post that, you can see my thought process throughout. (Hint: you grabbed a few guys I was planning on taking with my next pick, including Robin Roberts and Ferdie Schupp).

It's hard to say what the *effective* salary cap will look like, but my best guess is that it will be in the $120-130 million range. There shouldn't be any pitching fatigue as there was no reason to skimp on innings.
