Nah, moving forward sticking to league forum is the right move. Say I post in the league forum I want slot X and then step away for a couple hours because I am happy with the slot I picked not knowing that someone did it in secret via sitemail, then I lose out on a window to pick a different slot. It should have to be in the public. Initial instinct was right.

A time slot in a random lottery drawing is a really silly thing to argue about. I'm sure dh immediately regretted even opening it up, as it just creates more work for him.

I don’t understand all the hubbub about which time slot you have. None of them increase your chance of getting the draft slot you want. On top of that, if you’re not where you want to be in the draft, you can trade your spot for another spot closer to where you want to be. Also, a multi-time champion has said that the draft slot itself isn’t as important as the person making the pick.
